They are generally more difficult to crimp\/uncrimp, so the N 18 headspace threaded bottles can be a more convenient alternative. We recommend silicone\/PTFE septa as the optimal choice for headspace applications, as they offer temperature stability from -60 \u00b0C to 200 \u00b0C, maximum analytical purity and excellent penetration properties.
